Hereford Ploughing Match

Every Autumn Ploughing matches are held around the country by various Ploughing Societies, its quite varied and ranges from Horse drawn ploughing to the new multi horse power tractors with rotating ploughs behind them, doing more in an hour than the horses can do in half a day.

Its judged on the way the Soil has been turned over with no turf showing – its quite competitive .

Out and About

Although i’ve been out a fair bit, i’ve not had much of interest to post, However last week a break in the weather had the hares moving around a bit more , allowing me some fairly close views of them .
