Blue skies and sun greeted us this morning and temperatures well below freezing, an ideal day to go up into the Cairngorms , we got to the top car park early with hardly a car in sight. £ 11-50 later we were on the Rail link to the top , with such a clear day the views were great , all the way up to the Moray Firth, back down at the car park a small flock of Snow buntings were moving around and luckily they decided to stop right by us – result ! but no Mountain Hares yet , but tracks everywhere.
